Consent collection
SS Recruit records SMS consent through clear opt-in interfaces such as candidate application forms, recruiter-assisted intake, and standalone consent pages.
Consent storage
Consent records include status, timestamp, organization, source, phone number, consent text version, IP address, user agent, recruiter context when available, and candidate linkage when matched.
Consent withdrawal
Candidates may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or by contacting the recruiting organization.
Opt-in
Opt-in requires an affirmative action such as checking an unchecked consent box or submitting a standalone consent confirmation form.
Opt-out
STOP replies are treated as opt-outs and should prevent future SMS communications unless the candidate opts back in.
HELP
HELP replies are used to route candidates to assistance for application, interview, or recruiting communication questions.
Data retention
Consent evidence and messaging audit logs are retained as operational and compliance records according to customer configuration, legal requirements, and platform policies.
Candidate rights
Candidates may request access, correction, deletion, or limitation of personal information according to applicable law and customer policies.
Recruiter responsibilities
Recruiters must use SS Recruit messaging for transactional recruiting communications only and must respect opt-out status, candidate preferences, and applicable law.
Provider independence
The compliance model is provider-independent and can support Telnyx, Twilio, Vonage, Bandwidth, Sinch, or future approved messaging providers.
